informed of recent changes and the latest requirements on LMTs, while
offering a comprehensive review of general legal requirements.
- HIV/AIDS* (1 CEU)
HIV/AIDS is offered in a video format
which is produced by the Department of Health.
- Professional Ethics* (2 CEU)
Professional Ethics offers participants
the opportunity to engage in discussion and exploration of ethical issues
which arise in the course of Massage practice.
- Medical Errors* (2 CEU)
Medical Errors, also in discussion
format, will focus on the more medically related aspects of Massage Therapy,
as well as a brief review of anatomy, indications and contra-indications for
Massage.
* These courses are required for license renewal. They are presented
in a lively discussion format which encourages participation from attendees.
Instructor: Michael McConnell, LMT, CST, NCTMB has worked and taught
in the field of Massage Therapy, Advanced Manual Therapy and Stress Management
for over 22 years. He is the President of Florida Wellness Centers, Inc. and
teaches extensively throughout Florida and other states. His background as an
instructor in Anatomy and Physiology, as well as his advanced clinical training
in CranioSacral Therapy, Muscle Energy Technique, Somatic Therapy, and others,
brings additional depth to the courses which he teaches.

What to bring to the Seminar:
- Bring loose fitting clothes (ie. Shorts, sports bra, tank tops for seminar,
(sweater or jacket recommended) temperature of the room can not be controlled
perfectly, your comfort will be in your hands.
- VERY IMPORTANT - If you are attending the Myoskeletal Alignment
Seminar, bring a massage table with set of sheets & lotion or oil
(unless you're flying). Custom Massage does not provide massage tables. This is a
hands on seminar and tables are required. Anyone driving in is required to bring a table. Any concerns please call Michael

- Class will be promptly run, attendance is required for CE’s. Sign in / out
